Pumpkin Painting

Make your own monster to take home! Each family can paint a pumpkin to look like whichever fantastical creature they choose and take it home to become the envy of the neighborhood. What will your pumpkin become?

Face Painting

Be transformed! Our talented volunteers will adorn your face with vampire fangs, a miniature mummy, or even one of Dr. Frankenstein’s lightening bolts! You can also try your hand at creating your own creature by decorating your face or the face of a friend or family member.

Werewolf's Den

Sprout House

Could there be werewolves lurking under the full moon? Spooky, scary! Learn about the moon’s impact on the natural world as you make your own mask to blend in with any wolf packs you may find roaming the moonlit paths of the Garden.

Dracula's Crypt

Wildflower Meadow

Many common plants have been used throughout history to ward off monsters. Mix your own special blend of herbs to make a talisman to ward off things that go bump in the night. Don’t forget the garlic; you never know when you might run into Dracula!

Mummy's Tomb

Lower Garden Lawn

Welcome to the pharaoh’s tomb! Who knows what treasures you might find as you wander the mummy’s mysterious halls. Make sure you learn how to battle the mummy’s curse in case you run across any of the tomb’s residents during your adventure!

The Haunted Pond

Water Pavilion

The Water Pavilion is being haunted by ghosts! Decorate a lantern to represent your ghost and then release it on the pond in order to send the spirit back to rest in peace. You ain’t afraid of no ghost!

Dr. Frankenstein's Laboratory

Rose House

Frankenstein’s monster is on the loose! Science may have created this monster, but nature holds the key to keeping him at bay. Learn about the power of fire as you build a torch to chase the monster back into the shadows.

Monster Alley

Secret Path near Pear Arbors

Watch out! The werewolf and his friends have gathered on the secret path to try and catch you before you leave the Garden. Be sure to have everything you’ve made throughout your visit so you can turn the tables and scare them away once and for all.

Having a monstrously good time? Be sure to take a picture with your own little boys and ghouls so you don’t forget the evening!

Courtyard Garden

Stay warm with special treats from local vendors! We will have hot drinks, sweet treats and warm food for sale to keep you satisfied on your visit. The Red Butte Garden Gift Shop will also have a special booth selling glow toys to help you enjoy the evening.
