Do adults need to purchase tickets?
Everyone over the age of 2 is required to have a ticket to enter the event. Don’t forget, children two and under are free!
Can I purchase tickets ahead of time?
You can pre-purchase tickets , by phone at (801) 581-8454, or in person at the Visitor Center front desk. Tickets can be picked up at the Garden before you attend or at Will Call on the night of the event. Be sure to bring a valid form of ID when you pick up your tickets.
What should I bring with me to the event?
Garden After Dark includes activities both indoors and outdoors so be sure to dress for the weather. Garden paths will be lit during the event, but you may also want to bring a flashlight to help guide your way.
Can I wear a costume?
Yes, costumes are encouraged. Dress your family in their Halloween best!
Will there be food available?
Food vendors will be located in the Courtyard Garden. Curbside Coffee will be on site every night to offer hot drinks to Garden guests. Additionally, the 18th through the 20th Better Burger will be serving local burgers, and October 25th through the 27th Fire and Slice Pizza will be dishing up warm, wood fired pizza. Don't forget to finish the evening with a hand dipped caramel apple from the Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory, on location October 19-20 and 25-27. Come hungry!
What’s included in the price of admission?
All activity stations located throughout the Garden are included with admission. The only items not included in admission are goods sold by food vendors and glow toys offered by the Red Butte Garden Gift Shop.

Where do I park?
Guests are encouraged to park in either the Red Butte Garden parking lot or the Williams building parking lot (see orange parking lots on map below). Guests are welcome to drop off passengers at the door before parking.
