From gardening practices to nature study – and just about everything in between – Red Butte Garden offers a wide variety of classes aimed at helping gardeners and nature lovers develop new skills, acquire new tastes, or meet new friends and travel behind the scenes at the Garden. Instruction by Garden staff and other community experts ensures that each class and workshop is a unique, engaging, and beneficial learning experience. Red Butte Garden partners in the University of Utah Continuing Education Lifelong Learning program and many Horticulture classes are held in the Garden throughout the year. Lectures |

Throughout the year, Red Butte Garden hosts lectures focused on horticulture topics relevant to the Intermountain West. Lecture topics vary and are given by a variety of experts in the horticulture field, including organic farmers, entomologists and ecologists. Many lectures are hosted by Utah State University's Salt Lake County Extension, while other lectures feature speakers from various countries around the world. |
