January 4 - February 24

This latest series of work is based on my love of atmospheric landscapes, open spaces and distant horizons. Some of my favorite places to be are on the edge of a cliff, or top of a mountain looking out over a valley.

These new paintings are a response to my memories of such places. They are meant to convey environments of contemplative stillness, peaceful quite moods: or moments when light moves across the landscape illuminating the horizon.
