Easily one of the greatest all-time female rock icons, Melissa Etheridge remains committed to songwriting. Her tenth studio album, Fearless Love, was released April 2010 with producer and guitar player John Shanks. The music embodies much of what we’ve come to anticipate from Etheridge--soaring melodies, her bold, expressive voice, and plenty of musical, lyrical, and emotional drama. It also embraces a freshness, with the appearance of mandolin, more piano, and guest vocals from Joss Stone and Natasha Bedingfield. Fearless Love offers pounding rockers, whisper-light ballads, and nods to her musical muses. With two Grammys and an Academy Award under her belt, she continues to make music and tour internationally.
