Reminiscent of The Rolling Stones, Tina Turner, and The Kinks all at once, Grace Potter and the Nocturnals have a sound that won’t fit neatly in one genre, but that has a beat, a physicality, and a mood. Potter says, “You have to either want to dance to it or cry to it. But there’s also a feistiness to these songs that’s completely unapologetic.” Over seven years and three albums, Grace Potter and the Nocturnals have grown from an uncommonly bright band into a force of nature. The band is anticipating their fourth studio album, The Lion The Beast The Beat, in 2012.
