Josh Ritter is known for his distinctive Americana style and narrative lyrics. The Moscow, ID native gained popularity touring in Ireland, first opening for Glen Hansard’s band The Frames and soon after, headlining his own shows. Ritter has since recorded 7 full-length albums with his band, 4 live albums, and 7 EPs. In 2006 Paste Magazine named him one of the “100 Greatest Living Songwriters,” and NPR’s Bob Boilen named his album So Runs The World Away one of the top 10 albums of 2010. His latest album, Bringing In the Darlings, was released in February.
