Los Lobos
After forming in the 70s and enjoying popular acclaim with the soundtrack for La Bamba in 1987, Los Lobos is still going strong. They have become a mainstay in the Rock and Mexican-American music scenes, staying together for over 20 albums, through changing music climates and personal tragedies. They have not lost their dedication to recording music with substance, and their latest album, 2010’s Tin Can Trust, is proof. Band member Steve Berlin says, “We keep trying to make every record feel like the first one and try to do the best we can and not tread on territory we have already trod on. What you hear is exactly what we wanted to do.”

Making his debut on the music scene in the 70s and still making records, Steve Earle has been heralded the “savior of country music.” His career, however, has a myriad of stylistic influences, including rockabilly, bluegrass, acoustic, folk, and roots rock. He has recorded over a dozen studio albums, contributed to countless collaborations, and won three Grammy awards. Earle released his first novel and fourteenth studio album, both entitled I’ll Never Get Out of This World Alive after a Hank Williams song, in the spring of 2011.
