Weeping Blue Atlas Cedar

Pinaceae
Cedrus atlantica glauca pendula
Zone 6-9

Weeping Blue Atlas Cedar is a moderate to slow-growing evergreen. It grows 10' tall and 15' wide with weeping, twisted branches. With its unique weeping habit and steel-blue foliage, this plant makes an eye-catching specimen tree. In the fall, it bears 2-4" oval shaped cones that stand upright on upper branches.

This is a great tree to use in a residential garden, arboretum, or display garden. It also looks very nice cascading over a pond or near a sitting bench. It can be trained, trellised, espaliered and even grown as a bonsai to fit the need and size desired in the garden. Its twisted branch habit gives it year round interest.

Its growing requirements include full sun exposure and planting in a well-drained soil.
