Let the Blooms Begin!

If you're a fan of the Wisteria now is the prime time to see it. They are in full bloom. So don't waste any more time and come visit the garden.

One of our native roses is beginning to flower and will continue for most of the summer. It's pink flowers will then turn to tasty rose hips that are very high in vitamin C.

The columbines throughout Redbutte are in their prime right now. They are very fragrant so be sure and take the time to smell them when you come upon any.

When you stroll throught the Water Pavillion Garden keep your eye open for the Carolina Allspice bush and the Siberian Yarrow.

It seems like you can't walk anywhere in the garden now without being
confronted with color and fragrance. Low growing groundcovers such as
Thyme and large trees like the Golden Chain Trees are in bloom right
now, and let me tell you, they are spectacular.

There's no better time to visit the garden than the present.
