Heatwave Festival! A celebration of Spy Hop’s yearlong music programs.
Thursday, July 18 from 7 - 9:30pm
Spy Hop’s Heat Wave Fest is your chance to meet the next generation of musical and radio artists from Spy Hop’s Loud & Clear Audio programs and hear how Spy Hop has helped them get a leg up in an industry they love.
Over the past year, students of Spy Hop's Musicology program formed a band, wrote original songs and recorded a full studio album. Students of Spy Hop's Loud & Clear Youth Radio program produced over 50 radio shows on KRCL 90.9 FM, and students of Spy Hop Records produced a video podcast called 801 Sessions showcasing 12 local youth musicians.
Students of Loud & Clear Youth Radio will emcee the night and the Spy Hop Musicology band, Jumping Trains, will perform music from their new album. Bring a picnic and join music and radio industry professionals, students, friends, and families to celebrate their accomplishments over the past year.
