Having a lifelong interest in creativity, I obtained my Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree with an emphasis in sculpture and ceramics from the University of Utah and then a Master of Arts Degree in Art Therapy. After even more school and becoming a Licensed Professional Counselor, I worked in the mental-health field for many years, using artwork to help others access feelings. Now that I am retired and able to return to my first love, making art, I have become a painter.
