Volunteer Opportunities

Red Butte Garden welcomes volunteers to assist in the care of breathtaking gardens, conservation of endangered plants throughout the state, assisting with festivals and concerts and the education of children and adults about the wonders of nature. If you are passionate about our natural world, join us as we strive to learn, protect, educate, and enjoy the beauties of nature.

Whether you enjoy gardening, teaching, conservation, special events, or are someone who enjoys doing a little bit of everything, there are numerous opportunities for you to become involved with Red Butte Garden. You will gain hands-on experience, meet new friends with similar passions for plants and the community, and help support our growing Garden, not to mention benefits that may include free classes, memberships, discounts, concert tickets and recognition events.

All Volunteers commit to a minimum of 20 hours per year.
