Volunteer Application

The Volunteer Program assists Red Butte Garden by providing volunteers to aid in the many goals of the Garden mission, while providing volunteers with the resources they need to be successful in their support of those goals. You will find volunteers almost everywhere from propagating seeds in the greenhouse to planting perennials in the Garden, from hiking trails in Southern Utah looking for endangered plants to hiking the Natural Area trails with a group of 3rd graders, from helping with concerts and festivals to assisting Garden visitors.

Volunteers are an extension of the Red Butte Garden staff and are appreciated and valued for their time, talents and devotion. At the present time the program has 350+ active volunteers who have contributed 13,000+ hours this last year toward the mission of Red Butte Garden. The Volunteer Program office is on the second level of the Walter P. Cottam Visitor Center.
