2nd/3rd Grade Camp
Sold Out!
MONDAY, JULY 8th - FRIDAY, JULY 12th
9:00 am - 4:30 pm*
This full-day camp is held in partnership with the Natural History Museum of Utah. There’s more to life than what you see above ground! Spend your mornings at Red Butte Garden, exploring the countless varieties of plant and animal life that live below the Earth’s surface. From bulbs and tubers to ants and snakes, life below ground is full of wonder. In the afternoon, campers will spend time with Museum staff investigating soil types, fault lines, pipelines, and the layers of the Earth. We’ll also determine how caves are formed and learn about troglobites, small cave-dwelling animals that have adapted to living in cave environments.
*Drop-off at Red Butte Garden, pick up at NHMU
