Come join Hollow Tree Honey’s professional beekeeper Joshua Shutkind for a crash course on beekeeping, and the opportunity to learn and appreciate the art of honey tasting! This event will first dive into the science of honeybees, typical beekeeping clothing and equipment, managing a hive throughout the year, and how to implement the best practices of experienced beekeepers. After, we'll explore the art of honey tasting, as we sample a variety of honeys and examine the hidden complexities and nuance behind each of them. This is a one time event you won’t want to miss!
