Crevice Gardens: Their Variety and Use in the Dry West

What seems like an esoteric garden style with an awkward name has become one of the fastest growing styles in north American gardens, public and private. A style developed in the Czech Republic has evolved beyond its traditional use in growing rare alpine plants, now branching into a variety of new uses and confluences into the worlds of plant conservation, water saving, low maintenance, art installations, rain gardens, habitat gardening, and multi-purpose ecological designs. These range from small back-yard features to massive, purposeful public parks. Join Kenton Seth, author of the new book "The Crevice Garden" and see newest innovations and most importantly, how they can be leveraged in the dry American West.

Saturday, August 27 from 5-7pm

Kenton J. Seth is a freelance garden builder from western Colorado who specializes in native-, unirrigated-, and rock- gardens, installing crevice gardens from his hometown to overseas.
