Princess Victoria Louise Poppy (Papaver orientale 'Princess Victoria Louise')

This stunning large-flowered beauty can be seen at the bottom of the Water Conservation Garden.

Aunt Dee Wisteria (Wisteria Frutescens 'Aunt Dee')

This is another stunner in the Water Conservation Garden. It is a climbing vine in the bean family.

King's Spear (Asphodeline lutea)

Bright yellow flowers adorn this plant. It can be found in the Herb Garden. Its roots can be roasted and eaten.

Pot Marigold (Calendula officinalis)

The specific epithet (second word of a botanical name) officinalis refers to its historical use in apothecaries and pharmacopeias as the official medicinal species of its genus.

McClintock Pussytoes (Antennaria parvifolia 'McClintock')

These flowers turn into puffs of clouds to aid in seed dispersal.
