The winter solstice is right around the corner, which means there is less than a week left of fall. Come say goodbye to fall and celebrate the equinox by visiting Red Butte Garden.

Red Jewelâ„¢ Crabapple (Malus 'Jewelcole')

This trees fruit seems to last all winter long, providing food for birds and beautiful contrast to the winter garden. It can be seen along the perimeter of the Rose House.

Woodhouse's Scrub-Jay

This bird hung around long enough for me to get a picture!

Water Pavilion

This is always such a serene scene in the fall.

Golden Raindrops Crapabble (Malus transitora 'Schmidtcutleaf')

Depending on the lighting/time of year, the fruit from this tree ranges from yellow, brown, to reddish-orange as pictured.

Come enjoy the last days of fall and welcome winter to the Garden!
