Discover how your favorite hero can help rescue the plants and animals around you. Using our newfound knowledge we will create our own superheroes, embracing the power within us to author the future of our natural world.

From Bigfoot to Zeus, join us as we explore myths and legends from around the world at Red Butte Garden. Each day will focus on a new myth or legend and discovering the plant and animal connections through fun games and crafts.

Calling all actresses and actors! Spend the week exploring drama, visual arts, and more in this full-day theatre camp. Throughout the week, you’ll create props and backdrops, practice your acting skills, and work with your fellow thespians to produce and star in a simple play. End the week with a live performance of your play in the Garden to showcase all you’ve learned.

Explore the ins and outs of landscape design this week at camp using Red Butte Garden as inspiration. You will learn how to combine plants, pathways, decorations and more to create a successful garden. Then recreate your dream plan in miniature form using decorations handmade by you. Each camper will take home a miniature garden at the end of the week.

Explore the world of art this week at camp as you paint, draw, and sculpt your way across the Garden. In addition to learning the basics of line, shape, color, and texture, you’ll also create artwork each day using a variety of mediums. End the week with a gallery stroll to showcase the incredible art you make.
