Calling all bookworms! Come read your way through the Garden as we explore the plant and animal connections found in some of our favorite books. Each day will involve crafts and games inspired by the days theme and books. Join us for an exciting week of literary adventure!

Kitchen Wizards

Become a culinary wizard this week at camp as you discover the magic of cooking. In addition to practicing essential kitchen skills like chopping, mixing, blending, and more, you’ll also learn how chefs use items from the Garden in cooking. No need to bring magic wands since you’ll make your own, along with a “spell book” of recipes.

Green Thumb Gardeners

What does it take to be a great gardener? Learn the unique skills and knowledge you need to grow amazing flowers, fruits, and vegetables. Explore the fun world of gardening through crafts, games, and planting your own container garden to take home!

Garden Superheroes

Super villains have invaded the Garden, and we need your help to catch them! Spend the week learning special skills and abilities from superheroes like Groot, Wonder Woman, and The Hulk that mimic the real-life adaptations of plants and animals found in the Garden. From plants with super-strong armor to seeds that fly without wings, you’ll discover all the skills you need to stop the super villains from taking over the Garden.

Miniature Garden Magic

The natural world is full of magic, and you’ll learn all about it this week at camp! Explore a new part of the Garden each day and discover the gnomes, elves, fairies, and other magical creatures that call Red Butte home. Later, use what you’ve learned to create the perfect habitat for these magic critters by combining basic garden design principles with small-scale plants and handcrafted accessories to create a magical miniature garden.

Adventures in Art

Ready for an artistic adventure? Explore the world of art this week at camp as you paint, draw, and sculpt your way across the Garden. You’ll learn the basics of line, shape, color, and texture, and end the week with a gallery stroll to showcase all the incredible art you create during camp.

Fantastic Fairy Tales

Fee-fi-fo-fum, join us for a camp full of fairy tale fun! Come explore the plant and animal connections found in some of the most popular fairy tales. Each day will focus on a fairy tale, as you discover the Garden with games and crafts.
