Block Printing 101

January 21

Tuesday, 5:30-7:30PM

In this class you will learn the art of relief printmaking to make a linocut stamp.

Using this stamp you will make art prints and cards in class. You can reuse this stamp to make many more cards and prints from home!

During this workshop, you will receive step-by-step guidance on how to cut the perfect design for printing. The versatile art of lino printing can be utilized to produce stunning pieces of art, intricate patterns, personalized stamps, and more!

*No experience needed. Tools and materials will be supplied to make 4 prints and 1 card.

Bring an inspirational image to class to help guide the drawing and carving portion of our time together.

Block Printing for Textiles

March 5

Wednesday, 5:30-7:30PM

In this workshop, participants will learn how to design and carve their own tessellation stamp. We will then use the stamp to print creative patterns on a tote bag. Participants will keep their stamp so they can print more at home! This is a beautiful and fun way to create wearable art!

Get to know your instructor:

Evi is an artist, designer, and educator. Evi holds an industrial design degree and has been creating art since 6th grade. She loves to teach adult and children’s creative workshops ranging from printmaking to pottery to candle making. Her art can be found in galleries, stores, and art markets across Wyoming, California, Nevada, and Utah. 

With a love for mountains, she often is skiing, climbing, and hiking alongside her rescue dog Lava. The stunning peaks and breathtaking sunsets on the alpine are a constant source of inspiration for Evi. Simple and bold best describes her style, she uses her creative tools to capture the essence of the majestic mountains and wildlife of the West.
