Plants and People: An Introduction to Ethnobotany

June 8 & 22

Sundays, 10:30am-12pm

Join us for a two-part exploration of ethnobotany, the study of the relationships between people and plants. In the first session (via Zoom), we’ll dive into the fundamentals of ethnobotany, including how cultures around the world have used plants for food, medicine, ceremony, and everyday life. In the second session (in person at the garden), we’ll take a hands-on approach, identifying key ethnobotanical plants, discussing their traditional and modern uses, and connecting theory to practice. This beginner-friendly course is perfect for anyone curious about the deep-rooted connections between humans and the plant world.

**Registration includes both classes.
