Now that the summer's warmth has faded, Red Butte Garden has transformed into a vibrant tapestry of fall colors. A stunning array of flowers bloom, painting the landscape in hues of gold, crimson, pink, and purple.
Honorine Jobert Windflower (Anemone x hybrida 'Honorine Jobert')
Windflowers can be found along the Floral Walk and in the Rose Garden.
Inca Iceā¢ Peruvian Lily (Alstroemeria 'Koice')
Hiding in plain sight, look for this delightful perennial growing in the shade of the Japanese maples on the Floral Walk.
Feverfew (Tanacetum parthenium)
This flower reminds me of my grandma who always had them growing all over her yard.
Ryan's Pink Mum (Chrysanthemum x morifolium 'Ryan's Pink')
This fall favorite can be found growing in the Fragrance Garden and Water Conservation Garden.
Yarrow (Achillea millefolium)
Yarrow has traditionally been used to heal wounds and stop bleeding, and in the 16th century, the crushed leaves were used to treat nosebleeds.
